Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp pectic enzyme (to break down fruit pulp)

  • 1 Campden tablet (to prevent unwanted bacteria and wild yeast)

  • Large fermenting container (glass or food-grade plastic)

  • Airlock and stopper

  • Straining bag or fine mesh strainer

  • Siphoning tube

  • Glass carboy for secondary fermentation

Wine Making Step-by-Step Process:

1. Preparing the Banana Base

  • Peel & mash the banana Fruit into a smooth paste.

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the mashed bananas.

  • Simmer for 15 minutes to extract flavors, then let it cool.

2. Mixing Ingredients

  • Pour the strained banana liquid into the fermenting container.

5. Straining and Secondary Fermentation

  • Use a siphoning tube to transfer the liquid into a clean glass carboy, leaving sediment behind.

  • Attach an airlock and let it ferment for another 4-6 weeks.

6. Bottling and Aging

  • Once fermentation is complete, siphon the wine into sterilized bottles.

  • Seal and store in a cool, dark place for at least 2-6 months to enhance flavors.
